Back in February, on Vision Sunday, I set a goal for our church to pray toward and strive toward. I set a goal of getting up to the place where we have 40 people coming regularly to our church by the end of 2016. I didn’t see it happening, but I believed and still believe that this is what I was supposed to strive toward with our church.
Lately, we’ve had higher numbers than ever before, with new visitors, returning guests, and faithful members all being in their place on the Lord’s Day. We’re getting closer and closer to seeing God bring us to that “40” number that we believe He wants us at by the end of this year. Next year, who knows? I’m thinking 60. Then 80. Then 100. Then we build a new campus. And we keep on impacting this town and state and nation for God.
You can’t possibly out-dream God.
